Speed Limit Reduction


THE PURPOSE OF THIS RESOLUTION IS TO MODERATE SPEED RESTRICTIONS ON THE FOLLOWING ROAD - CONSOLIDATED SCHOOL ROAD.


WHEREAS, the Town of Fulton does have the authority to regulate and modify the speed limits on the Town of Fulton town roads;

AND WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Fulton, believes that this reduction in speed limit is for the best interest and safety of the residents and travel in the Town of Fulton;

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the Fulton Town Board by board action at a Town Board Meeting held the

10th day of March 2009 voted to reduce the current speed limit of 55 miles per hour to 45 miles per hour on the road named N Consolidated School Road, from East FJ Townline Rd. to State Highway 51.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this reduced speed limit will be enforceable after proper posting and signing has been completed.

Approved by the Town Board of the Town of Fulton this 10th day of March, 2009.
