NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

 Notice of Public Hearing

Town of Fulton Planning & Zoning Commission

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be conducted by the Town of Fulton Planning & Zoning Commission on Tuesday, January 10th, 2012, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Town of Fulton Town Hall, 2738 W Fulton Center Dr., Edgerton, WI  53534 to consider a proposed amendment to the Town of Fulton Comprehensive Plan: 2035 and an accompanying rezoning.  The purpose of the public hearing is to accept public comments on the proposed amendment and rezoning application.

 

An application has been filed by John Hurd requesting an amendment to the land use plan map adopted as part of the Town Comprehensive Plan.  The application requests that the land use plan map be amended to change the land use designation of Tax Parcel 6-6-145 & 6-6-146(175 acres), located at (104 N. Hurd Rd., Edgerton.) from “A-1 Agricultural District” to “Special Purpose Distrct.”  A rezoning of the property from A-1 (Agricultural District) to SP (Special Purpose District) has also been requested and will be considered at the public hearing.

 

And, an application has been filed by Oberdeck Farms Inc.  requesting an amendment to the land use plan map adopted as part of the Town Comprehensive Plan.  The application requests that the land use plan map be amended to change the land use designation of Tax Parcel 6-6-46 (12 +/- acres), located at (NE ¼, NW ¼, Sec. 7., Edgerton) from “A-1 Agricultural District” to “Special Purpose Distrct.”  A rezoning of the property from A-1 (Agricultural District) to SP (Special Purpose District) has also been requested and will be considered at the public hearing.

 

And, an application has been filed by Beatrice Morrison requesting a zoning amendment of Tax Parcel 6-6-50.1 & 6-6-50.2(11.11 acres), located at (6307 W State Road 59, Edgerton) from “A-1 Agricultural District” to “Special Purpose Distrct.”   A rezoning of the property from A-1 (Agricultural District) to SP (Special Purpose District) has  been requested and will be considered at the public hearing.

 

The public may review copies of the application and the Comprehensive Plan at the Town Hall during regular Town Office hours.  Interested parties may make arrangements with the Town Clerk to obtain a copy of the application at 608-868-4103 or (fultonclerk@townoffulton.com).

During the Public Hearing, the public is invited to speak on the proposed plan amendment and rezoning.  Written comments may be submitted to the Town Clerk until 5:00 p.m. on Jan. 10th  and shall become part of the record.  The Public Hearing shall be closed when all interested parties in attendance have had an opportunity to offer comment.

 

Upon the close of the Public Hearing, a meeting of the Town of Fulton Planning & Zoning Commission shall be called to order and the application shall be addressed per the agenda.
