January 18, 2010 Water Utility Meeting Minutes
FULTON WATER UTILITY MINUTES
January 18th, 2010 @ 5:00PM @ the Fulton Town Hall
CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by Mike Rebman at 5:00 p.m. Also present were Becky Bittner, Scott Wileman, Ron Griffin and Connie Zimmerman.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES AND AGENDA:
A Motion was made by Scott Wileman, seconded by Mike Rebman to approve the December 14th, 2009 Regular Meeting minutes. Motion carried 3/0.
OLD BUSINESS:
A. None
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION:
A. None
NEW BUSINESS:
A. Discuss & review any necessary 2009 Budget Amendments. A Motion was made by Becky Bittner, seconded by Scott Wileman to table this topic until the February meeting to allow for more of the 4th quarter payments to be received so as to be able to conduct a more accurate review. Motion carried 3/0.
B. Monthly comparison of Edgerton and Fulton meter reads
Meter reads comparisons for 2007, 2008 and 2009 were reviewed.
C. Certified Operators Report
•A water leak was discovered at 9768 N. East Badger Heights (Brandon Barnholdt propertyowner). Appears to be a result of a frozen pipe break after the meter.
•New injector for chlorination pump is working well.
D. Pay bills, review & approve financial statement. A Motion was made by Scott Wileman, seconded by Becky Bittner, to pay bills and approve
financial statement. Motion carried 3/0.
E. Set date and time for next meeting
The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 15th, 2010 @ 5:00 p.m.
F. Review correspondence
•WI Rural Water correspondence reviewed
ADJOURN:
Mike Rebman made a Motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Scott Wileman. Motion carried 3/0.
